Availability - direct on-line access for updating your availability.
With the new Cavaliers e-list up and running it is now the responsibility of each player to ensure that they keep their availability for games up-to-date directly using the on-line system (MailChimp).
Using the on-line system
Simply click on the "Update your profile" link on any Club-wide email you receive, eg. event reminders, team announcements, etc [there'll usually be at least 2 a week so don't worry if you delete one, there'll be another one along soon]
This takes you direct to the availability information section for you - simply review what is there and, where necessary, add, update or amend the details shown for the game dates (you can also use it to update other key information, eg. new mobile number, new work phone, etc)
Then click the Save button at the bottom left.
This new system ensures that when teams are being chosen the Selectors are working from the very latest information on who can or can't play, who isn't sure, and so on - this will, we hope, make for a smoother, less time-consuming process. Any problems, please let us know.
IMPORTANT FOR THOSE WHO HAVE GIVEN US MORE THAN ONE EMAIL ADDRESS. To avoid the system showing too many people available when doing a count, your availability will only be displayed once only. It will be shown against the email address the system shows as being used most frequently by you to read Club emails. You will need to use the "Update My Profile" link for this email address in order to see and update your availability. This also means you don't have to update two or more profiles and also avoids the situation where there might be conflicting information for your different email addresses.
The table below shows the time lines that the Club members agreed for running the availabilty-selection-confirmation aspect of the teams. Club members who fail to advise a change and, having been selected in a team, as 12th man or a reserve, subsequently withdraw will be given a lower priority when the team is selected for the next game in which they are available.
